And in its wake,
a golden lake
A firestorm of hope.

a road to a freedom

Said one, one the other, "are you not or are you my brother..." in desperate need, or a reason to shutter, to touch life with a reason and for love, one is broken on the steps, betrayed,
a white flag waves
take more than a share and they put you that place processed, bound, blackmailed in the moment, least expected, & forever now enslaved, machines are grafted into your veins, and you pull away.. you cant pull away

you keep the "now", you have your moment i'm on a road to a freedom
you keep the "now", now you have it all
i'm on this road, a road to a freedom

exhausted, imploded and worn out from the trail he's broken one foot in front of the other, one bad step deserves another a trap door is under him, how? the sun is burning this town
bring your passion here, disect it on this table take what they give and on your laurels rest, hope for the best, you give up vicariously satisfied by the T.V. towers, fictional truth is on sale, you want it, you bought it, you own it

you keep the "now", you have your moment i'm on a road to a freedom
you keep the "now", now you have it all
i'm on this road, a road to a freedom

a cold whisper on the air, a smooth, languid beckon, the language of death's calling card but there is no plateau in the sky, but a storm on the rise, i watched it through this key hole, the fury of your god, the fury of your god unfolds

you keep the "now", you have your moment i'm on a road to a freedom
you keep the "now", now you have it all i'm on this road,
a road to a freedom
(you could have it too..)
music, lyrics- j. blue

"Yoga for the East is a means towards the fulfillment of the spiritual life, just as Art in the West is a process toward the realization of the sacred within"-Meher Baba

This is a direct quote Meher Baba, the Great Spiritual Master of India to an American Artist.

I think this is a great example of the eloquence of Meher Baba, who with one sentence can compare the Eastern and Western approach to spiritual aspiration life and illumine the differences and similarities.

Rich

I think its really awesome that artsupply.com now has a place where individuals can share their thoughts and feelings about art and creativity. I am hoping it supports the reality of a creative community that cares for and respects its members

Open Source Software: Blender

Open Source Software
A favorite of mine is Blender, a 3d animation software that can rival the big ones like Maya and 3dmax but it is free, and weighs in at only 8mb or so. Compare that to SoftImage XSI at about 600mb.... Community supported , its user interface is different then most windows programs but its very smooth and uses keyboard shortcuts . It also has extensive on line instruction to get started. Even just to play with, it is a pretty software.
Blender has produced various releases including the showcase Elephants Dream.
Check it out

Welcome to our blog

This is our first posting, the idea here is to post any information and or opinion related to the use of paint materials, media and type, anything in fact to further the creative spirit in the production of art.
Of course, we specialize in supplying physical art materials, materials that we ship out to you, from our store to your house or studio or business. But here we will wish to share metaphysical materials, meaning inspiration and community. And also to share techniques and instruction on the use of physical materials in order to foster the expression within.

We at ArtSupply.Com are looking forward to sharing ideas with our customers as we have many creative and interesting individuals working with us and are looking forward to expressing ourselves in this manner to hopefully extend that expression to you and your projects as well.

Happy Painting,

-Robert, webmaster for artsupply.com
