Black Foamcore Board

Foamcore or Foam board ( Memory) is a very strong, lightweight and easily cut material useful for sign making, backing artwork , mounting photographic and art prints, framing,and 3D design and sculpture. It consists of three layers — an inner foam layer of polystyrene sandwiched between an outer facing board of either white clay coated, black matte or color clay coated paper. The foamcore has a built-in memory, allowing it to return to its original thickness after cutting. Foam board does not hold up well to wet adherents and is therefore not suitable for wet painting. For painting, Gatorboard is recommended. However for sign painting with acrylics , as a temporary signage it is unmatched in its economy. Available in all white foam board and all black foam board and Color foam board . White foam board has smooth, clay-coated, glossy liners. Black foam board has a solid black core, wrapped in smooth,matte black paper. OVERSIZE
Oversize items require higher shipping charges then normal UPS because they go by truck shipment.
The price upon checkout will state "truck shipment" and the shipping cost.

The shipping cost will be calculated on the checkout page when the order is placed.

In some special cases the actual shipping cost may be lower or higher then what is calculated on the page.
In this case we will email or call you beofre the order is finalized.

Please note: In cases of oversize residential deliveries , the carriers will bring the
box to the end of the truck, but usually will not off-load the box or bring it in to
the house. They want a special fee for what they call 'gate lift' change and indoor charge.
This charge does not go to us and is not part of the shipping charge you see on the checkout page.
We recommend that in order to save this high off loading fee that you have helpers there
yourself to get the box off the truck and indoors.

INSPECT FOAM BOARD UPON DELIVERY FOR ANY DAMAGES . Upon delivery the package should be checked by the receiver for accuracy/AND/OR damages.
Damages or errors in order should be reported 24 HOURS upon receiving the shipment in order for us to arranged a return.
