ARCHES Aquarelle Watercolor Paper Pad Hot Press Natural White 140 lb (300 gsm) Glue Binding 12 Sheet 11.69x16.53 in 1 Count

ARCHES® aquarelle watercolor paper provides superior performance for discerning artists. Thanks to an exclusive core sizing, each sheet offers astounding absorbency, as the ph-neutral internal & external fibers hold pigment in place without over-saturation. The heavyweight surface withstands multiple layers of paint with minimal warping & is suitable for water-based mediums such as ink, gouache & acrylic painting. Available as cold press, hot press & rough for different textures: choosing the right surface can impact the success of your piece just as much as skill level & paint quality. Hot press: also made with a cylinder mould, but pressed through heated rollers to create a compact, smooth surface. Since pigment sits on the surface longer, artists who prefer more control & intricate line work will enjoy its predictable, refined finish. This paper is natural white, a warm, slightly creamy tone for a traditional, soft aesthetic. Pads, blocks, sheets & rolls, offered in the most popular fine art sizes & formats, perfect for creating in a local café, studio, en plein air, or art class. The art of paper, perfected over centuries: since 1492, arches has been the paper of choice for legendary artists: Van Gogh, Matisse, Picasso, Dalí, Warhol & beyond. Mould-made with 100% cotton fibers, this archival-quality paper is designed to stand the test of time, ensuring your work shines for generations.
