Description

A single pigment rich semi-opaque blue with green undertones. Allegedly named because it was thought 'bluer than the sea', Ultramarine was originally made from semi-precious lapis lazuli. The current pigment was created by French chemist Guimet in 1828 as a synthetic, but chemically-identical alternative. Enjoy smooth, pourable color with Liquitex BASICS Acrylic Fluid, 118 mL Bottle. Formulated with the same high-quality pigments as Liquitex BASICS Acrylics, this versatile fluid paint offers excellent coverage, color strength, and permanence in a low-viscosity format. It's ideal for fine art, craft, and mixed-media techniques such as pouring, dripping, staining, and detail work. The ready-to-use consistency eliminates the need for dilution while maintaining brilliant, even color. Perfect for use on canvas, wood, paper, or fabric, it dries to a flexible, water-resistant finish with rich saturation and subtle sheen. Non-toxic and intermixable with all Liquitex acrylics and mediums, Liquitex BASICS Acrylic Fluid gives artists, educators, and students the freedom to explore expressive, high-flow applications with professional-quality results.
